How to Read Someone’s Eye Movements

When I’m buying my horrible morning coffee at Starbucks, I can usually tell how much the barista hates me by her eye movements. The rolling of the eyes, the blank, soulless expression full of hate, she resents that I get my daily coffee fix and I have to communicate with her.

If you’re like me and have an active interest in discovering those that hate you, you will find this American Express infographic useful (quite possibly depressing).

Takeaways:

  • Apparently people lying look top right to visualize.
  • People having an internal dialogue look bottom right.
  • I’m basically now David Blaine.
  • I’m starting to question whether everyone hates me? Thanks, American Express!
